DELIA ZORRILLA EDINBURG - Delia Zorrilla, 55, died Sunday, February 23, 2014, at her residence in Laguna Vista. She is preceded in death by her parents, Norberto and Irene Calvillo. Delia is survived by her husband Adolfo; two children, Sarah Zorrilla of McAllen, and Grabiel (Daniela) Zorrilla; and a granddaughter, Lilianna Zorrilla of Brownsville. Mrs. Zorrilla was an Air Force nurse recipient of the Bronze Star Medal and three Meritorious Service Medals. She retired as a commander from The U.S. Public Health Service. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, February 25, 2014, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 26, 2014, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery in Mission. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
