MAXINE YOUNG CAVAZOS
ALAMO - Maxine Young Cavazos, 86, passed away Thursday, October 14, 2021, at Amara Hospice in Edinburg.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Federico Cavazos Jr.; her parents, Alva and Linnette Young.
Mrs. Cavazos is survived by her three sons, Leroy (Sandra) Cavazos, Michael (Liz) Cavazos, Alva Lee (Indra) Cavazos; step-daughter, Flor (Leonel +) Saldana; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. prayer service Monday, October 18, 2021, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Dismissal will take place at 12 p.m. Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery in Mission.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
