YOLANDA MARIA MENDOZA

PHARR – Yolanda Maria Mendoza, 76, passed away Sunday, November 16, 2025, at her residence in Pharr.

She is preceded in death by her granddaughter, Briel Rendon; her mother, Maria Matilde Roman; four brothers, Virgilio Roman, Santiago (Jimmy) Roman, Jose Luis (Pepe) Serrato, Jesus Roman Jr.; and stepfather, Jesus Roman Sr.

Mrs. Mendoza is survived by her four children, Yvette (Jaime Garcia) Mendoza, Veronica (Mario Rendon Jr.) Mendoza, Olvedo Carlos (Tristi) Flores, Mark Anthony (Emily) Flores; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; four siblings, Maria Elena Hernandez, Arturo Serrato, Ruben Roman, and Vidal Roman.

Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. with a 6 p.m. Memorial service Thursday, November 20, 2025, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
