YOLANDA AGUIRRE

EDINBURG – Yolanda Aguirre,46, passed away Thursday, January 15, 2026, at DHR Hospice in Edinburg.

Yolanda is survived by her husband, Miguel Angel Avila; three children, Miguel Angel Avila Jr., Angela Marie (Jose Andres Castro) Avila, Alejandro Daniel Avila; three grandchildren, Leylani May Avila, Madison Ailyn Avila, Jose Andres Castro Jr.; parents, Pedro and Maria Aguirre; and three siblings, Oscar (Flor) Aguirre, Aurora Isabel (Jose Juan) Vasquez and Vicente (Heidi) Aguirre.

Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary Sunday, January 18, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Monday, January 19, 2026, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
