DONNA – Eduardo Yanez, 66, died Saturday, December 17, 2016, at Amara Hospice in Edinburg.
Born in Rancho El Saliseno M., Matamoros, Mexico, he lived in Donna for 15 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Alberto and Berta Yanez; three brothers, Everardo Yanez, Emilio Yanez and Ernesto Yanez; two sisters, Elvia Yanez and Elvira Yanez.
Mr. Yanez is survived by his daughter, Claudia Yanez of Donna; four grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; five siblings; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 21, 2016, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Cremation will follow at Memorial Cremation Center in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of San Juan.
