Maria Beatriz Yañez, 88, passed away Friday, January 21, 2022, at McAllen Medical Center.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Silverio Yañez; parents, Benancio and Juana Aboyte.
Mrs. Yañez is survived by her five children, Amelia (Rosalio) Hernandez, Marta (Valentin) Reyes, Rafael (Guadalupe) Martinez, Elizabeth L. (Francisco) Rocha, Patricia (Jose) Martinez; 20 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; two siblings, Adela Aboyte and Josefina Aboyte.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary today, January 26, 2022, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 12 p.m. Thursday, January 27, 2022, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Alamo.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
