WILLIAM ROGER YODER
EDINBURG – William Roger Yoder, 80, passed away Saturday, August 16, 2025, at South Padre Island.
William had a deep love for South Padre Island, where he spent some of his happiest days relaxing and enjoying the ocean breeze. He was an avid hunter and conservationist who cherished the outdoors and the peace it brought him. Along with that, he had a passion for collecting arrowheads, a hobby that connected him to history and the land he loved so much.
As the president and owner of Hacienda Ford, William dedicated his life to doing what was best for his employees and his community. He was deeply respected as a leader who valued hard work, loyalty, and generosity.
More than anything, William loved and cared deeply for everyone around him. He brought a vibrant energy into every room he entered, always eager to get to know people and make them feel seen. His kindness, warmth, and laughter touched countless lives and will be remembered forever.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Marvin Clifford Yoder and Phebe Baer Yoder.
Mr. Yoder is survived by his spouse, Jennifer Yoder; four children, William C. (Katy) Yoder, Travis (Tabitha) Yoder, Ryan Yoder, Lien (Santos) Rodriguez; five grandchildren, Trace Yoder, Ty Yoder, Mackenzie Yoder, Mason Yoder, and Noah Rodriguez.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. with a prayer service at 6 p.m. Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Cremation will take place at Memorial Cremation Center in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
