EDINBURG – Leticia R. Walton, 51, died Saturday, August 29, 2009, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg.
Born in Mission, Leticia had lived in Edinburg all of her life and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg.
She is preceded in death by a brother, Adan Ramirez; her husband, John Walton; and a nephew, Rick Ramirez.
Leticia is survived by two children, Erica Ramirez and Edward Ramirez; her mother, San Juana Ramirez; her father, Manuel Ramirez, all of Edinburg; and six siblings, Manuel (Emma) Ramirez, Mary (Cris) Sanchez, Rick (Janie) Ramirez, Eva Ramirez, Ramiro (Cristy) Ramirez, and Elma (Fred) Perez, all of Edinburg.
A rosary was held Sunday, August 30, 2009, at Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 2 pm Monday, August 31, 2009, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in McAllen.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
