VIRGINIA FLORES

ALAMO - Virginia Flores, 74, passed away Sunday, June 7, 2026, at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Lucia Gamez; two brothers, Rosendo Rodriguez, Jose Martin Rodriguez; and nephew, Julio Rodriguez.

Mrs. Flores is survived by her husband, Manuel Flores; three children, Lucia (Juan) Ruiz, Rosalinda Flores, Manuel (Luisana) Flores Jr.; nine grandchildren, Manuel Antonio (Aaliyah) Flores, Juliette Uscanga, Romeo Uscanga, Jesse Flores, Matthew Ruiz, Ishmael Ruiz, Roel Flores, Luis Angel Flores, Julian Flores; and father, Primitivo Rodriguez.

Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home, 311 E. Expressway 83 in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at Resurrection Catholic Church in Alamo. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.

Le precedieron en vida su madre, Lucía Gámez; dos hermanos, Rosendo Rodríguez y José Martín Rodríguez; y su sobrino, Julio Rodríguez.

A la Sra. Flores le sobreviven su esposo, Manuel Flores; tres hijos, Lucía (Juan) Ruiz, Rosalinda Flores y Manuel (Luisana) Flores Jr.; nueve nietos, Manuel Antonio (Aaliyah) Flores, Juliette Uscanga, Romeo Uscanga, Jesse Flores, Matthew Ruiz, Ishmael Ruiz, Roel Flores, Luis Ángel Flores y Julian Flores; y su padre, Primitivo Rodríguez.

El velorio comenzará a las 5 p.m., con un rosario a las 6 p.m., el martes 9 de junio de 2026 en Memorial Funeral Home, ubicado en 311 E. Expressway 83 en San Juan. El servicio fúnebre se llevará a cabo a las 10 a.m. el miércoles 10 de junio de 2026 en la Iglesia Católica Resurrection en Alamo. El sepelio se realizará a continuación en Val Verde Memorial Gardens en Donna.
