In Loving Memory of Viola Salinas

Viola Salinas, age 85, of Alamo, Texas, passed away on Monday, June 1, 2026, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Viola was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother and great-grandmother, and a dear friend who touched countless lives with her kindness, warmth, and generous spirit. She was the heart of her family and a guiding light to all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Manuel Rivera Sr. and Elena Rivera; her siblings, Manuel Rivera Jr. and Jose “Walle” Rivera.

Viola was known for her joyful laughter, love of dancing, and her incredible ability to make everyone feel welcome and loved. Her laugh was contagious, her smile unforgettable, and she was often the life of every gathering. She never hesitated to lend a helping hand to anyone in need and lived a life full of compassion, generosity, and unconditional love.

She was especially proud of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and nothing made her happier than having her family gathered together. The memories she created with them will be treasured forever and continue to live on in their hearts.

The family extends special thanks to her devoted caretaker, Otila (Oti), for the genuine love and care she provided to Viola, and to the compassionate team at Bristol Hospice for their support and kindness.
