RUBEN VILLEGAS
ALAMO - Ruben Villegas passed away to be with the Lord on July 17, 2009 at the age of 21 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen.
Ruben was born in McAllen and had lived in Alamo all of his life.
He is survived by his parents, David Villegas and Emma Juarez of Alamo; six brothers, David Villegas, Jr. of San Juan, Joe Villegas, Michael Villegas, both of Indiana, Omar Villegas, Danny Villegas and Rudy Villegas, all of Alamo; four sisters, Azeneth Lopez, Abby Zuniga, Ruby Villegas, all of Alamo and Araisa Rodriguez of Pharr; and maternal grandparents, Andres and Salustria Garcia of Donna.
Ruben was a fun loving, charismatic individual who enjoyed life to the fullest. He loved his family and friends and he was proud of his Dad. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service, today, July 19, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Monday, July 20, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
