VICTOR MANUEL ORTEGA

EDINBURG - Victor Manuel Ortega, 34, passed away Friday, August 8, 2025, at his residence in Edinburg. 

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Reyna Perez and Florentino Martinez. 

Mr. Ortega is survived by his mother Daniela Perez; step-father, Adolfo Reyes; three siblings, Carlos Velasquez, Paloma Velasquez, Sarah Reyes; three nephews, Cayden Velasquez, Theodore Kauffman, Noah Kauffman; brother-in-law, TJ Kauffman; and bestfriend, Juanito Hinojosa. 

Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. with a 6 p.m rosary Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg.  Cremation will take place at Memorial Cremation Center in Edinburg.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
