VICENTE MARTINEZ
SAN JUAN– Vicente Martinez, 96, passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at his residence in San Juan.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Tomasita S. Martinez; daughter, Maria Neila Tijerina; parents, Antonino and Marcelina Martinez; brother, Cirilo Martinez; and his sister Susana Benavidez.
Mr. Martinez is survived by, his four children, Ricardo V. (Maria C.) Martinez, Rolando R. (Ofilia C.) Martinez, Rosalinda (Hilario, Jr.) Tristan, Norma A. Federico Salazar; 12 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and his four siblings, Dolores Cano, Miguel Martinez, Lucia Tellez, and Senorina Martinez.
Visitation will begin at 4 p.m., with a 6 p.m. rosary Sunday, June 1, 2025, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Monday, June 2, 2025 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in San Juan. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
