ADELA VASQUEZ SAN JUAN – Adela Vasquez, 85, died Monday, July 7, 2014, at her residence in San Juan. She is preceded in death by a sister, Juana Maria Martinez de Hernandez; her parents, Rafael and Juana Martinez. Mrs. Vasquez is survived by her husband, Ovidio Vasquez; eight children, Rodrigo Vasquez, Maria C. Bravo, Gilberto Vasquez, Rosalva Villanueva, Jose Ovidio Vasquez, Ludivina Salinas, Dalia Aguayo, Elizabeth Gonzalez; 19 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Marcos Martinez, Viviano, Martinez, Fidencio Martinez; four sisters, Narcisa Flores, Baudelia Martinez, Gregoria Berrones, and Maria De Jesus Florez. Visitation will be held from 1 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, July 8, 2014, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral services will take place at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Interment will follow at San Juan Cemetery. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
