Hector Juan Vargas

Hector Vargas, 77, passed away peacefully Sunday, June 3, 2018, at Amara Hospice in Edinburg.
Born in Santa Rosa, he had lived in Alamo most of his life.
Mr. Vargas is preceded in death by his loving wife of 40 years, Gloria Aldape Vargas.
He is survived by his only son, Jose Jesus Vargas of Alamo; four sisters, Oralia Alvarez, Pabla Garcia, Juanita Romero, and Petra Rodriguez; and his brother, Ramon Vargas.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service Wednesday, June 6, 2018, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place a 10 a.m. Thursday, June 7, 2018, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Interment will follow at San Juan Cemetery.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
