LUCIA VALDEZ
PHARR - Lucia Valdez, 67, entered eternal rest on Thursday, January 12, 2023, at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jose Antonio Valdez; her parents; two sisters; and three brothers.
Lucia is survived by five children, Marco Antonio (Betty Molina) Valdez, Omar Orlando (Leidy Alanis) Valdez, Cynthia Krystal (Jessie Araguz) Valdez, Ivan Uriel Valdez, Lesslie Arely (Nicholas) Martinez; 12 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and three sisters, Guadalupe Castor, Soledad Ibarra, Concepcion Rodriguez.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 8 p.m., with a 6 p.m. prayer service Sunday, January 15, 2023, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Cremation will take place at Memorial Cremation Center in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
