VALDEMAR GARCIA
CHICAGO- Valdemar Garcia, 94, passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2026, in Chicago, Illinois.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Amelia V. Garcia; and parents, Jose and Tomasa Garcia.
Valdemar Garcia is survived by his children, Dora V. Garcia, Norma (Ben) Moreno, Delia L. Garcia, Jose Valdemar (Hilda De La Torre) Garcia Jr.,David R. Garcia; grandchildren, Deanna Gergets, Christian A. Alvarado, and Benjamin Moreno; great-grandchildren, Ryan, Michael, Sophia, Victor and Antonio.
Visitation will begin at 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m., Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Interment will follow at Rio Grande Valley State Veterans cemetery in Mission, Texas.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of San Juan.
