ALAMO – Pedro “El Compita” Saenz Trevino, 77, died Friday, October 6, 2017, at his residence in Alamo.
Born in Alamo, he lived there most of his life.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Carmen A. Trevino; a daughter, Carolina Trevino; his parents, Manuel Trevino and Esperanza L. Saenz; and a brother, Pancho Trevino.
Pedro is survived by his five children, Angelica (George) Aguirre, Manuel Trevino, Frank (Belia) Trevino, Rosa Trevino, Pedro Trevino, Jr.; 13 grandchildren; seven siblings, Rosa T. Reyna, Antonio Gomez, Sr., Teodora G. Bernal, Juana Hernandez, Teresa Ramirez, Julia Gutierrez, Jesus Gomez; granddaughters and caregivers, Natalie Montes and Maricruz Trevino.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Monday, October 9, 2017, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Tuesday, October 10, 2017, at Resurrection Catholic Church in Alamo. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
