MARIA VICTORIA TORRES ALAMO – Maria Victoria Torres, 79, died Tuesday, December 2, 2014, at her residence in Alamo. Born in Alamo, she had lived there all of her life. She is preceded in death by her parents, Sofia and Reberiano Torres, Sr; and two siblings, Eulalio Torres, Sr. and Irene Saenz. Ms. Torres is survived by her four siblings, Isable (Luis) Zuniga of Coachella, California, Eladia (Francisco) Reyes, Reberiano (Esperanza) Torres, Jr., and Rene (Irma) Torres, all of Alamo; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 3 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Thursday, December 4, 2014 at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Friday, December 5, 2014, at Resurrection Catholic Church in Alamo. Interment will follow at San Juan Cemetery. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
