TERESA DE JESUS HERNANDEZ
HIDALGO – Teresa De Jesus Hernandez, 72, passed away Friday, March 28, 2025, at South Texas Health System in McAllen.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Agapito Hernandez; parents, Jesus and Teresa Garcia Martinez.
Mrs. Hernandez is survived by her daughter, Maria Guadalupe (Felipe C.) Ayala; three grandchildren, Miguel Angel Olaguez, Felipe Ayala Jr., Sofia Jeanelle Ayala; two great-grandchildren, Emily Pena, Maximiliano Pena; five siblings, Maria de los Angeles Garcia Martinez, Gilberto Garcia Martinez, Gumerzindo Agustin Garcia Martinez, Maria Margarita Montanez, and Alfredo Garcia Martinez.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. with a 6 p.m. Memorial service Friday, April 18, 2025, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
