EDUARDO SUAREZ
SAN JUAN/McALLEN – Eduardo Suarez, 88, died Thursday, May 19, 2011, at McAllen Heart Hospital.
Born in Durango, Mexico, Mr. Suarez had lived in San Juan for most of his life and in McAllen since 1974.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Celestino and Pabla Suarez; a grandson, Eduardo V. Suarez; three brothers; three sisters.
Mr. Suarez is survived by his wife, Esperanza Suarez, of McAllen; nine children, Elva Suarez, Eduardo (Fina) Suarez Jr., Luis A. (Sylvia) Suarez, Irma Suarez, Rosa (Jose Gonzalez) Suarez, Pabla Suarez, Domingo (Dora) Suarez, Esperanza Suarez, all of McAllen, Francisca (Alberto) Sandoval, of San Juan; a brother, Luis Suarez; a sister, Tomasa Suarez, both of Durango, Mexico; 20 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 pm, with a 7 pm rosary Sunday, May 22, 2011, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 10 am Monday, May 23, 2011, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Interment will follow at San Juan Cemetery.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
