SONYA TOBIAS
SAN JUAN– Sonya Tobias, 64, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at Edinburg Regional Hospital.
She is preceded in death by her mom, Isabel Hernandez.
She is survived by her husband, Maurilio Tobias Jr.; daughter, Sierra Garza and seven children; seven grandchildren; and two siblings, Ralph Santana and Anette Santana.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., with a Service at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home, 311 E. Expressway 83, San Juan, Texas. Cremation will follow at Memorial Cremation Center in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
