SOCORRO AGUILAR
EDINBURG – Socorro Aguilar, 85, passed away Wednesday, December 24, 2025, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Andres and Julia Arevalo; four siblings, Andres Arevalo Jr., Rodolfo Arevalo, Chelo Garcia, and Cruz Arevalo.
Mrs. Aguilar is survived by her husband, Rafael Aguilar; three children, Jaime Aguilar, Daniel (Dina) Aguilar, Lucinda Aguilar; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; four siblings, Enrique Arevalo, Linda Ramirez, Lupita Edes and Hector Arevalo.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary, Monday, December 29, 2025, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
