SEBASTIAN SILVA EDINBURG - Sebastian Silva, 18, died Friday, September 27, 2013, in Edinburg. Born in McAllen, Sebastian had lived in Edinburg all of his life. He is preceded in death by a cousin, Jesse E. Chavez. Sebastian is survived by his mother, Angelica Maria (Adolfo Jr.) Torres of Elsa; his father, Eulalio Silva of Edinburg; four siblings, Emily, Shaina, Esteban, and most special brother, Alec Jay Torres, all of Elsa; maternal grandparents, Ruben and Alica Mendoza of Edinburg; paternal grandparents, David and Paula Silva of Edinburg; three aunts, Rosalva (Raul) Ruiz, Rachel Mendoza, Rosie Mendoza, all of Edinburg; two uncles, Joe Mendoza and Ruben Mendoza, Jr., both of Edinburg; 16 cousins including his two most special cousins, Amanda Arebalo and Joshua Dennett. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, September 30, 2013, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 1, 2013, at Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
