MARCELINO "MARCY" SERRANO
SAN JUAN - Marcelino "Marcy" Serrano, 55, died Sunday, September 5, 2010, at McAllen Heart Hospital.
Mr. Serrano was born in Wizard, Idaho and had lived in San Juan for 23 years.
He is preceded in death by a son, Marcelino Lamar Serrano, Jr., and his mother, Maria D.L. Serrano.
Mr. Serrano is survived by his wife, Imelda Serrano, of San Juan; a daughter, Vivian S. Villareal, of San Antonio, Texas; a son, Guillermo Rodriguez, of San Juan; a sister, Maria C. Gonzalez, of McAllen; a brother, Juan Serrano, of Edinburg; paternal grandmother, Maria Concepcion Sanchez, of Laredo; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A prayer service was held Tuesday, September 7, 2010, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 4 pm today, September 8, 2010, at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in McAllen. Cremation will take place at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
