CONSUELO MCDONALD SEGOVIA
PHARR - Consuelo McDonald Segovia, 88, died Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at McAllen Medical Center.
Born in Hidalgo, Mrs. Segovia had lived in Pharr all of her life.
She is preceded in death by her husband, David O. Segovia; a son, Elias Segovia; and a brother, Jose Garcia.
Mrs. Segovia is survived by eight children, Emma (Larry +) Littell of Clayton, Indiana, David (Lucia) Segovia, Jr., Elida (Francisco) Peralez and Estella (Jose) Hernandez, all of Pharr, Eduardo (Jina) Segovia of Plainfield, Indiana, Juan M. (Aida) Segovia of Plymouth, Iowa, Marianna (H.D.) Stearman of Grand Prairie, Texas and Matilde (Jose) Martinez of McAllen; 31 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Elena Rivera, Claudina Mata and Angelita Hernandez, all of Pharr; and two brothers, Severo McDonald, Sr. of Pharr and Roberto Garcia of Indiana.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, today, September 3, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Friday, September 4, 2009 at St. Anne Mother of Mary Catholic Church in Pharr. Interment will follow at Guadalupe Cemetery in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
