SANTIAGO REYNA LOPEZ

EDINBURG – Santiago Reyna Lopez, 81, passed away Saturday, October 4, 2025, at DHR Health Hospice in Edinburg.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Eleazar Reyna Flores and Ramona Lopez; and his brother, Gilberto Reyna.

Mr. Reyna is survived by his four children, Carlos Alberto (Norma) Reyna, Elsa Aidee (Miguel Angel) Arevalo, Maribel “Mari” Reyna, Maria Isabel (Reynaldo) Salinas; 12 grandchildren, Carlos Jr., Kassandra, Miguel Angel Jr., Joshua, Anaily, Julie, Mariana, Alexa, Jorge, Magaly, Angela, Isamar; eight great-grandchildren; Adeline, Alleah, Jolene, Arya, Mateo, Rey, Kaeli, Miguel III “Tres”; five siblings, Amancio Reyna Lopez, Raul Reyna Lopez, San Juana Gaudalupe Perez, Alma Delia Reyna, Irma Leticia Reyna; and his love and companion of his life till his last breath, Maria Juliana Barrera De Leon.

Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 1 p.m. Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
