Samuel Balli

PHARR- Samuel Balli, 81, died Thursday, May 16, 2024, at Alfredo Gonzalez Texas State Veterans Home in McAllen.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and a step son, Ernesto (Lilia) Molina.

Mr. Balli is survived by his wife, Mary R. Balli; three children, Elizabeth (Kent) VanSickle, Cynthia (Stephen) Castillo, Deborah Balli, three stepchildren, Eliza (+ Arturo) Rodriguez, Enrique (Sabrina) Molina, Lizette M. Cervantez; 20 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Visitation will begin at 5 p.m., with a 6 p.m. rosary Sunday, May 19, 2024, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.   Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Monday May 20, 2024, at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Pharr. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.

Military honors will be conducted by  VFW McAllen Post 8788.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
