SAN JUAN - Antonia Salinas Perales, 57, died Saturday, March 31, 2018, at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen.
Born in Cerritos, San Luis Potosi, Mexico, she had lived in San Juan most of her life and was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish.
She is preceded in death by her father, Alejandrino Perales; and a brother, Justino Perales.
Antonia is survived by two children, Guillermo Salinas of Alamo, Elizabeth Salinas of San Juan; five grandchildren; her mother, Apolonia Perales of Cerritos, San Luis Potosi; and seven siblings, Cirila Salinas of San Juan, Lucio Perales, Jorge Perales, both of Mexico, Victoria Estrada of Dallas, Angelica Garcia of Alamo, Lilia Alanis, Ana Flores, both of Edinburg.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Tuesday, April 3, 2018, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 4, 2018, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Interment will follow at San Juan Cemetery.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
