PHARR - Natalia H. Salinas, 87, died Wednesday, March 25, 2009, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg.
Born September 3, 1921 in General Trevino, Nuevo Leon, Mexico Mrs. Salinas was a resident of Pharr since 1943 and was a member of St. Margaret's Catholic Church in Pharr.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Santiago S. Salinas.
Mrs. Salinas is survived by three children, Nelia (B.R. "Poppy") Rodriguez, of McAllen, Santiago (Margie) Salinas, of Ft. Worth, Texas, Gracie (Mike) Nebel, of Spring, Texas; nine grandchildren, Omar (Carla) Rodriguez, Orlando (Jessica) Rodriguez, Carlo (Triana) Rodriguez, Lori (Felix) Mira, Luis Salinas, Adrian Salinas, Eric Nebel, Stephanie Nebel, David Nebel; seven great-grandchildren, Andre, Joaquin, Dante and Derek Rodriguez, Isabella, Joey and Sophia Mira; and two sisters, Geraldina Salinas, of General Trevino, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, and Gertrudis Vela, of Melvindale, Michigan.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 pm, with a 7 pm rosary Thursday, March 27, 2009, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 10 am Saturday, March 28, 2009, at St. Margaret's Catholic Church in Pharr. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
