ALAMO - Juan Escobedo Salinas, age 51, passed away Monday, March 12, 2018, in George West, TX. He was born April 27, 1966, in McAllen, TX, to Raul and Fermina Salinas of Alamo, TX.
Juan truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; talking with friends, family, and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by Lupita Ramirez, the mother of his children; three sons, Mario Escobedo, Carlos (Anna) Salinas, Jonathan Salinas; a daughter, Erica (Joel) Lopez; parents, Fermina and Raul Salinas; two brothers, Raul Salinas Jr., Lee Roy Salinas; two sisters, Maggie (Jesse) De La Cruz, Gracie (Gustavo) Perez; several nieces and nephews; numerous cousins.
He is preceded in death by his son, Joshua Lee Salinas; and a brother, Carlos Salinas
Visitation will be held from 3 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service Friday, March 16, 2018, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan, TX. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m., Saturday, March 17, 2018, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna, TX.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
