ZARAGOZA SALINAS, III
EDINBURG – Zaragoza Salinas III, 75, died Wednesday, July 13, 2016, at Amara Hospice in Edinburg.
Born in Pharr, Mr. Salinas had lived in Edinburg most of his life. He was a loving father, who raised his two children on his own after the passing of his wife.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Maria Dora Garza Salinas.
Mr. Salinas is survived by a son, Eric John Salinas of Edinburg; a daughter, Claudia Lee Salinas; a grandson, Ryder Christian Rodriguez, both of Edinburg; two siblings, Emma Morales of Pharr and Ramiro Salinas of Harlingen; and his longtime friend, Elva Flores.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Friday, July 15, 2016, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 9 a.m. Saturday, July 16, 2016, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Pedro Garza Zamora Cemetery in Falfurrias.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
