Paula Salazar

PAULA SALAZAR ALAMO – Paula Salazar, 91, died Wednesday, January 21, 2015, at McAllen Medical Center. Born in Madero, TX, Mrs. Salazar had lived in Alamo all of her life. She is preceded in death by her husband, Cipriano Salazar; a son, Santos Salazar; a daughter, Irma Salazar; and her parents, Eugenio and Juanita Livas. Mrs. Salazar is survived by four children, Cipriano Salazar, Jr., Marta (Leonel) Garza, Alma Salazar, Frank (Herlinda) Salazar, all of Alamo; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a sister, Matilde Salinas of Angleton, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Friday, January 23, 2015, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday, January 24, 2015, at Resurrection Catholic Church in Alamo. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Alamo. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
