JUSTINO SALAZAR
PHARR - Justino Salazar, 65, died Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at Comfort House in McAllen.
Born in Guanajuato, Mexico, Mr. Salazar had lived in Pharr most of his life and was a member of Primera Iglesia Bautista in McAllen.
He is preceded in death by his father, Pedro Salazar.
Mr. Salazar is survived by his wife, Margarita Salazar of Pharr; two children, Delia (Vidal) Ortiz of Woodstock, Illinois and Jose Luis (Frances) Salazar of Edinburg; six grandchildren; his mother, Herminia Herrera of Mexico; six sisters, Angela Grimaldo, Amalia Vasquez, Rosario Reyes, Guadalupe Escobedo, Ester Garza, Alicia Rodriguez; and three brothers, Juan Salazar, Carmelo Salazar and Pedro Salazar III.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service, today, August 14, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 15, 2009 at Primera Iglesia Bautista in McAllen. Interment will follow at Webber Cemetery in Donna.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
