SAN JUAN- Rueben Fonseca, 84, died Saturday, April 19, 2025, at San Juan Nursing Home.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ciro and Juana Fonseca; a daughter, Maria Fonseca; five siblings, Ciro, Jr., Eusebio, George, Guadalupe, Maria Fonseca, and Carlos Fonseca
Mr. Fonseca is survived by his wife, Delia Fonseca; three children, Ruben Fonseca, Jr., Gloria (Alban) Benavides; 12 grandchildren; great-grandchild; and two siblings, Frank Fonseca, and Alvina Trevino.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m., with a 6 p.m. rosary Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 12 noon Thursday, April 24, 2025, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
