RUBÉN TREJO

EDINBURG – Rubén Trejo, 87, passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2026, in Harlingen, TX.

He is preceded in death by his granddaughter, Ava Lynn Trejo; parents, Pablo Trejo and Celia Leal Trejo.

Mr. Trejo is survived by his eight children, Carla C. (Juan Jr.) Sandoval, Aimée Iris Trejo, Edgar Trejo, Ruben (Lana) Trejo II, Angel Hugo (Jennifer Lynn) Trejo, Julio Cesar Trejo, Pablo Trejo, Jorge Humberto (Yvette) Trejo; grandchildren, Carissa Jana Sandoval, Gerrad C. Gracia, Hannah F. Gracia, Haille M. Gracia, Angel Hugo Trejo II, Anastasia S. Baylon, Arielle Louise Trejo, Asher Jade Trejo, Mercedes Trejo Smith, Braelunn Ruben Trejo, Braxxton Ruben Trejo, Jude Trejo, Jorge Humberto Trejo II, Daniel Trejo, Gabby Trejo; great grandchildren, Haiden Prince Garibay, Eloise Evangeline Baylon, Beckett Ruben Smith, Benny Randall Smith, Everett Jackson Smith, Wyatt Hill Smith; and sister, Sylvia Trejo.

Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary Thursday, April 9, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg.

Cremation will take place at Memorial Cremation Center in Edinburg.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
