RUBEN LOPEZ
DONNA– Ruben Lopez, 74, passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Severino and Alicia Lopez; and three siblings, Oscar Lopez, Homero Lopez and Benilde Lopez.
Ruben is survived by his three children, Ruben (Blanca) Lopez, Erick Lopez, Edith Lopez; three grandchildren, Olivia G. Lopez, Emmanuel Castellanos, Ruben O. Lopez; six siblings, Olga Lopez, Bertha Lopez, Ofelia Borowitz, Jose Lopez, Jesus Lopez and Maria Lopez.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. with a 6 p.m. prayer service Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home, 311 E. Expressway 83, in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 12 p.m. Thursday, April 23, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in San Juan. Interment will follow at Roselawn Cemetery in McAllen.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
