EDINBURG – Rosie Garcia, 60, passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at her residence in Edinburg surrounded by her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Refugio Garcia and Consuelo Medina Garcia; two sisters, Selina Zuniga, Alicia Gonzalez; paternal grandparents, Manuel Peña and Antonia Peña.

Miss Garcia is survived by her adoptive parents, Manuel Peña and Sylvia Peña; ten siblings, Roberto (Rosa) Garcia, Esteban (Maria) Garcia, Miguel (Rosa) Garcia, Ofelia (Nicolas Villagomez) Garcia, Leticia Garcia, Mario Garcia, Jackie (Albert) Garcia, Manny Peña, Jesse Peña, Mark Peña; two nieces and one nephew whom she loved as her own, Andrea Garcia, Abby Garcia, Albert Garcia Jr.; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Cremation will take place at Memorial Cremation Center in Edinburg.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
