Romeo Cantu, 85, entered eternal rest Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at The Heights of Alamo.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Lucia Cantu; his parents, Adan and Fidela Cantu; and three siblings, Thelma Sanchez, Adan Cantu Jr., Isaura Cantu.
Mr. Cantu is survived by his three children, Romeo Cantu Jr., Corina (Hiram) Gutierrez, Alexander Homer Cantu; three grandsons, Joshua, Jordan, and Jared; and one great-grandson, Logan.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m., with a 6 p.m. rosary Thursday, March 12, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 1 p.m. Friday, March 13, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at San Juan Cemetery.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
