ROMAN E. TREVINO

EDINBURG – Roman E. Trevino, 95, a longtime resident of Edinburg, passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at DHR Health Hospice in Edinburg.

He is preceded in death by his son, Roman Trevino Jr.; and daughter, Felipa Flores.

Mr. Trevino is survived by his wife, Adela Maciel Trevino; three children, San Juanita (Ralph) Leal, Pablo (Mary) Trevino, Elena Trevino; seven grandchildren, Elizabeth Leal, Cindy Leal, Pablo “Nune” Trevino Jr., Monica “Mona” Rodriguez Cantu, Norma Guzman, David Leal, Roy Flores; 19 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Gabriela Garcia.

Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 18, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
