ROEL RODRIGUEZ
EDINBURG – Roel Rodriguez, 30, died Friday, May 19, 2017, at Metropolitan Methodist Hospital in San Antonio.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Israel Rodriguez; his maternal grandfather, Pedro Barrientes, Sr.; and his paternal step-grandfather, Jose C. Reyna.
Roel is survived by his parents, Candelario and Lydia Rodriguez; two brothers, Israel Rodriguez, Pedro Rodriguez; his maternal grandmother, Rosa Barrientes; and his paternal grandmother, Bertha Reyna, all of Edinburg.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, May 22, 2017, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m., Tuesday, May 23, 2017, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at
