JULIA "JULIE" RODRIGUEZ SAN ISIDRO - Julia "Julie" Rodriguez, 78, died Saturday, April 19, 2014, at Edinburg Regional Medical Center. Born in Puerto Rico, TX, Mrs. Rodriguez had lived in Edinburg all of her life. She is preceded in death by her husband, Pedro Rodriguez; a daughter, Maria Lydia Rodriguez; her parents, Teodoro and Natividad Perez; two brothers, Santos Perez and Vicente Perez. Julie is survived by three sons, Pete Rodriguez, Jr. of Edinburg, Jose (Adelaida) Rodriguez of Marion, TX, Roberto "Bobby" (Lisa) Rodriguez of Arlington, TX; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 3 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, April 21, 2014, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 22, 2014, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
