EDINBURG – Concepcion Rodriguez, 96, died March 2, 2017 at her residence in Edinburg.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Alejandro V. Rodriguez; four children, Margarita Rodriguez, Alicia R. Chapa, Jorge Rodriguez and Janie R. Garza.
Concepcion is survived by three daughters, Yolanda R. (Juan) Garza, Maria Luisa Rodriguez, Connie R. (Ricardo) Hernandez; 13 grandchildren, Alejandro, Lisa, Victoria, Denny, Dante, Monica, George, Jaime, Ricardo III, Rolando, Rebekah, Erika and Robert; 14 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Cleotilde Garcia and Silvestra Barrera.
A rosary was held at 7 p.m. on Friday, March 3, 2017. Funeral service will take place at 1 p.m., Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in McAllen.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
