Mary Ann G. Rodehaver

MARY ANN G. RODEHAVER
EDINBURG – Mary Ann G. Rodehaver, 64, went home to Jesus on Thursday, January 11, 2018, at her residence in Edinburg after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Pharr, she was formerly of Mission and lived in Edinburg for eight years. Mrs. Rodehaver was a life-long educator and was employed by La Feria ISD, PSJA ISD and most recently Valley View ISD, until her retirement in 2012. Mary Ann loved teaching. Her students were her pride and joy and she cared for them as if they were her children. Mary Ann was a member of Mercedes Christian Church. She was a devoted Christian who loved the Lord and enjoyed traveling with her husband.
She is preceded in death by her father, Rogelio Garza.
Mary Ann is survived by her husband, Charles G. Rodehaver of Edinburg; her mother, Emma G. Garza of Pharr; four siblings, Rebecca (Gary) Montgomery of McAllen, Rogelio Garza, Jr of Pharr, Christina (Eddie) Diaz of Edinburg, Chriselda G. (Ronnie) Munoz of Weslaco; nieces and nephews, Lisette Juarez, Omar Torres, Natalie Garza, Emily Garza, Gabriel Munoz, Ronica Munoz; grandnieces and grandnephew, Victoria Juarez, Justin Juarez, Katarina Ochoa; cousins, Rene (Maria Elena) Cuellar, Richard (Diana) Cuellar, Linda (Richard) Chavez, Romeo (Janie) Cuellar; and three stepchildren, Randy (Susan) Rodehaver, Doug Rodehaver, Susan Rodehaver.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. eulogy today, January 12, 2018, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 1 p.m. Saturday, January 13, 2018, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Pallbearers will be Rene Cuellar, Richard Cuellar, Romeo Cuellar, Omar Torres, Joel Juarez and Justin Juarez.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
