Crescencio "Chris" Rocha Jr.

CRESCENCIO "CHRIS" ROCHA, JR. EDINBURG - Crescencio "Chris" Rocha Jr., 74, died Monday, July 14, 2014, at LifeCare Hospital in McAllen. Born in La Reforma, Mr. Rocha had lived in Edinburg all of his life and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He was a retired store manager of Montgomery Ward. Chris is preceded in death by his parents, Crescencio and Otila Rocha; and his in-laws, Simon and Petra Navarro. Mr. Rocha is survived by his wife of 54 years, Esther E. Rocha, of Edinburg; three children, Cynthia (Harold) Saenz, Margie (Billy) Santos, Rolie (Laurie) Rocha, all of Edinburg; six grandchildren, Cristina Rocha, Lorissa Saenz, Christopher Saenz, RJ Rocha, Marcos Santos and Marissa Santos; a brother, Felix (Hilaria) Rocha, of Pharr; a sister-in-law, Englantina (Ruben) Gonzalez, of McAllen; a brother-in-law, Noe (Gloria) Navarro, of San Antonio; and various nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Wednesday, July 16, 2014, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 East Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 17, 2014, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Edinburg. Private interment of cremated remains will take place at a later date. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
