Nicomedes Robledo

EDINBURG - Nicomedes “Nico” Robledo passed away Saturday, June 16, 2018, after a valiant battle with illness.
Born in Valle Hermoso, Tamps., Nico had lived in Edinburg most of his life.
He loved his family with all his heart, his nephews and nieces were everything to him, and he always saw the positive side of everything. While Nico attended Edinburg High School, he received Cosmetology license, he was very talented with his hands and had a passion to make his customer feel beautiful with their makeover.
Nico was loved so much by his family and friends. He will be missed by many of us.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Nicomedes Robledo and Maria Guadalupe Alonzo; and his brother, Sabino Robledo.
Nico is survived by his five sisters, Juana Castañeda, Natalia Zepeda, Josefa Salazar, Berta Hernandez, Maria Elena Cantu; 20 nephews and nieces; 33 grandnieces and nephews, 3 great- grandnieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 12 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Sunday, June 17, 2018, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Cremation will take place at a later date at Memorial Cremation Center in Edinburg.
Nico would like to personally thank his customers and everyone that believed in him and gave him the opportunity to succeed in his 30+ years of career.
