| Roberto "Robbie" Ramirez III, 46, entered eternal rest Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen. Robbie is survived by his wife, Marisela Ramirez; six children, Roberto (Vida) Ramirez IV, Kaylee Ramirez, Haylee Ramirez, Gunner Hauer, Yaleina Ramirez, Rocco Flores; his parents, Roberto Jr. and Melba Ramirez; and six sisters, Lisa Ramirez Howell, Monica (Marcus) Singer, Rachel (Robert) Moon, Cecilia (Don) Lamardo, Daniela Ramirez Zuniga, Melba (Jose) Figueroa; and many nieces and nephews. Robbie's unconditional love for his family and friends was the cornerstone of his character. He was the favorite of all his sisters and was always proud of all his children, their dreams, and accomplishments. His smile, his kindness, and his playful sense of humor will be missed. Robbie's generosity and larger-than-life outlook will be greatly missed as will his faith that anything is possible. Robbie ran his race with courage, and he leaves a hole in our hearts that only time can heal. Our comfort is knowing that Robbie is in the loving presence of God. On behalf of the Ramirez family, we would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation and gratitude for the love, care, and support that was provided by the Rio Grande Regional ICU Support Team. The doctors, nurses, chaplain, and the medical staff provided compassion to Robbie and our family during this very difficult time. We invite you to celebrate his beautiful life with our family. Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 9:00 p.m., with a 7:00 p.m. prayer service Sunday, November 26, 2023, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan, Texas. The family will gather at 9:00 a.m. Monday, November 27, 2023, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. The procession will depart at 10 a.m. to La Piedad Cemetery in McAllen. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. |
