McAllen— Roberto Hinojosa,71, passed away Monday, August 17, 2026, at The Heights of Alamo.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Manuel and Maria Hinojosa, and brother, Antonio Hinojosa.
Roberto is survived by his wife Maria Hinojosa; three children, Anabel Hinojosa, Luis Garza, Joanna Hinojosa; four grandchildren, Nadia Anne Fernandez, Fernando Bravo Jr., Natalie Abigail Bravo and Angelina Garza; five great grandchildren; and six siblings, Emmanuel, Consuelo, Yolanda, Esmeralda, Ernesto Hinojosa and Amelia Garcia.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m., with a 6 p.m. prayer service Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral Service with take place at 12 p.m. Thursday, August 20,2026 at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
