ROBERTO GARZA  PEREZ

Edinburg - Roberto Garza Perez, 80, passed away Friday, August 2, 2024, at Hidalgo Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Edinburg. 

He is preceded in death by his wife, Pilar Cavazos Perez; two step children, Raul Hinojosa, Oralia Hinojosa; six siblings, Maria Perez, Petra Perez, Celia Perez, Adan Perez, Ruben Perez, and Reynaldo Perez. 

Mr. Perez is survived by his children, Belinda Perez, Maria Isabel Perez, Laura Perez, Roberto Perez; five step-children, Irma Vasquez, Jacinto (Gracie) Hinojosa, Sylvia Hinojosa, Letty (Daniel) Hernandez, Hector (Marisela) Cavazos; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and a sister, Lupita Perez. 

Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary Monday, August 5, 2024, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg.  Funeral service will take place at 9 a.m. Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg. 

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
