Roberto Garcia Mata
December 20, 1950 — January 29, 2026
SAN JUAN - Roberto G. Mata, 75, died Thursday January 29, 2026, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Refugio and Victoria Mata; six siblings, Evangelina Villa, Cruz Mata, Mary Daniels, Eliberto Mata, Jose Francisco Mata and Jaime Marin.
Mr. Mata is survived by his wife, Anna C. Mata; two children, Roberto (Consuelo) Mata, Jr., Ariana Michelle Mata (John David) Flores; five grandchildren, Robin, Kiara, Taigin, Benjamin, Khiynoa; and three siblings, Victoria Pitman, Leonel Mata and Rene Zamora.
Cremation will take place at Memorial Cremation Center in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of San Juan.
